Well, don’t consider yourself unqualified as there can be some errors in your resume. Thus, in this article, we will take you through the steps of how to write a resume.

Table of Contents
Typos and grammatical errors
Your resume has to be grammatically perfect. If it isn’t, employers will read between the lines and draw wrong conclusions about you.
Lack of specifics
Your resume shouldn’t be simply stating the obvious. Employers should have an understanding of what you’ve done and accomplished and what you wish to achieve in the future.
Highlight duties instead of accomplishments
Your resume needs to show how good you are at your job. What you are best at, what all you have done in your previous companies and job roles.
Going on too long or cutting things too short
A resume has no length but generally, it should be limited to a maximum of two pages. If it’s extending further then try to cut it down into a simple version.
Bad summary
Employers always read your career summary. So, give them something specific that caters to their requirements.
Leaving off important information
You may be tempted to mention the part-time jobs you’ve taken to earn extra money for school and college. However, telling the employer about your soft skills like time management and work ethics can be helpful.
Incorrect contact information
Always list your correct information in your resume be it your contact number, your email address or your residential address.
