But what happened this time will send a SHIVER down your spine 😨😨
If you watched another video, RJ had ordered the “fake” Roadside Assistance (RSA) card that was being sold by a scammer.
It was supposed to cost ₹5,000.
He refused to pay, so it got returned. The scammers must have lost ₹100-150 on shipping.
They called RJ again, and this time, the scammer sounded more serious.
The convo went like this:
Scammer: “Sir, didn’t you receive the R.S.A. card yet? What happened?
RJ: The courier guy demanded ₹4,500, whereas you said ₹4,499.
In response, the scammer claimed that if RJ wanted the GST input, he’d need to pay ₹5,310. Otherwise, he could pay ₹4,500 in cash.
When RJ asked for a discount, she firmly refused.
She then demanded RJ’s address in his own voice. So he gave a fake location with the landmark, “S.C.A.M. Institute.”
Before ending the call, she warned RJ:
“If the parcel is returned again, you’ll face a hefty penalty of ₹9,999 at the showroom.”
The moral of the story?
Keep your family and friends aware of these scams.
If you want to flip the script, ask them to send the parcel and then refuse to pay on delivery, costing the scammers more in shipping fees.
