Our YouTube channel, Labour Law Advisor, began its humble beginning in August 2017. Mandeep Gill and Rishabh Jain are the two pioneers who saw the need for educating the population on important government policies. Hence, with an inclination to share our knowledge with the masses, we started small. Initially making YouTube videos from our respective homes on important labour laws.
Gradually, subscribers started pouring in. Since people started understanding the importance and relevance of the matters discussed, more people became interested. Word of mouth also helped in gaining us some momentum. We hit our 5000 subscribers mark in August 2018. Almost a year since the channel’s beginning. During this period, there was almost no income from the Labour Law Advisor YouTube channel. But making any income was never the goal anyway. It was all about educating society on the reality of labour laws!
Along with Labour Laws, we started incorporating career advice, stock advice, financial advice and more. Our friends and family played a big part in expanding the horizon. We got to meet and interview many well-known people in the Labour Laws field. Some of these notable appearances on our channel were Mr Praveen Kohli, Mr Ritul Patwa, Mr Ram Niwas Bairwa and more. We also got to attend the Jodhpur YouTubers’ Meet around August 2018, which was a big achievement in itself.
In September 2018 we hit the first 100,000 subscribers mark on the Labour Law Advisor YouTube channel. As our online family grew, so did our team behind it. We were able to hire more videographers, content writers and researchers. All of them helped to create even bigger and better content for our viewers. From creating content at home, we moved into an office space. We were able to expand our provisions and shift to actual studios with proper lighting and camera equipment. Along with all this, we hit the 500,000 subscribers mark in April 2019! We were already ecstatic with our achievements so far. Although bigger and better things were instore.
How can we forget our awesome counterparts with whom we made some very successful YouTube collaborations! Finnovationz, Tax Guru Ji, Mr Parth Mehta, Civil Beings, Mr Naman Mohnot were a few faces you must have seen on our channel. We are eternally grateful for them to lend their professional feedback to our audience. With so much love, we were also able to travel all over the country and bring you some amazing franchise businesses with our Franchise Analysis series. A new series where we helped find good franchises for people to invest in. Furthermore, we also built a great online community on our Telegram group. Along with that, we got a community of other labour law consultants. This was helpful in the circulation of important official notifications as well as lending official advice to people in need.
But the best was yet to come! In March 2020, we organized the first-ever YouTube conclave in Jaipur called ThinkVID. With over 300 YouTubers in the house, the event was a grand success! It provided a platform for budding YouTubers and professional YouTubers to share their knowledge. We hosted some big names in the field such a Jeet Selal, Karl Rock, Aman Dhattarwal, Komal Gudan, and others. These YouTubers kindly graced the occasion and participated in panel discussions.
On 13th April 2020, the Labour aw Advisor YouTube channel reached 1 million subscribers! We truly believe that the journey has just begun and there are miles more to go before we sleep! Watch the amazing journey of Labour Law Advisor YouTube channel in the small clip below!
