How to Withdraw Money from PF Account

Prerequisites:
Activated UAN: Ensure your Universal Account Number (UAN) is activated.
KYC Compliance: Your UAN should be linked with your Aadhaar, PAN, and bank details.
Step-by-Step Guide:
Step 1: Log in and visit the EPFO Member e-Sewa portal- https://unifiedportal-mem.epfindia.gov.in/memberinterface/ and log in using your UAN and password.
Step 2: Verify KYC Details: Navigate to the ‘Manage’ tab and select ‘KYC’ to confirm that your details are verified.
Step 3: Initiate Claim: Go to the ‘Online Services’ tab and choose ‘Claim (Form-31, 19, 10C & 10D)’.
Step 4: Enter Bank Details: On the next screen, enter your bank account number and click ‘Verify’.
Step 5: Proceed with Claim: Click ‘Yes’ to agree to the terms and then select ‘Proceed for Online Claim’.
Step 6: Select Claim Type: From the dropdown menu, choose the appropriate claim type: full EPF settlement, partial withdrawal (PF Advance), or pension withdrawal.
Step 7: Provide Details: If opting for partial withdrawal, specify the purpose, amount required, and your address.
Step 8: Submit Application: Agree to the declaration and submit your application. You may need to upload supporting documents based on the purpose of withdrawal.
Note: Withdrawals from PF are tax-free up to ₹1 lakh.
