Welcome to the Labour Law Advisor, today’s post is for employers, and focuses on completing your EPF challan payment. For the last few years, this payment of EPF challan can only be done through an online portal. We’re assuming that you have already generated your PF challan from either your PF consultant or your HR department. The deadline for paying is on the 15th of every month, so make sure you do so to avoid penalties.

How to complete your EPF Challan payment:
- Head on over to this link and sign in using your EPFO username and password.
- Click on the Payments tab at the top of the screen.
- In the submenu that appears, click on ECR/Return Filing.
- You will see two options now. Under Pending Challans, you can pay your ECR and also the damages and interests for filing late returns.
- Click on ECR’s pending Payment.
- A window will appear showing your past payments and pending ECRs. You can check your TRRN to verify that it is your EPF Challan payment.
- Click on the ‘Pay‘ option.
- Now you will be asked to select your bank. After doing so, you will be taken to the bank’s site to complete your payment through internet banking.
You have successfully completed your EPF Challan Payment.
