When you travel in an AC coach, they give you two things:
A brown bag
Inside, you’ll find two sheets – one to cover yourself and one to lay down on.
If you’re lucky, you might get a napkin as well.
A thick, black blanket

While the sheets are washed after every use, an RTI revealed that blankets are washed only once a month.
A CAG report showed some blankets hadn’t been washed for as long as six months.
Just imagine how many people have used that blanket before you…and what they might have done with it.
So, if you’re traveling in an AC coach, bring your own way to keep warm.
Don’t rely on the provided blanket.
