A station master in Visakhapatnam was on duty, arguing with his wife over the phone.
In a fit of anger, as he hung up, he told her,
“I’ll talk to you when I get home – OK?”
But guess what? His transmitter was still on.
His colleague overheard the “OK,” assuming it was the green light to send off a freight train.
Unfortunately, the train was dispatched straight into a Maoist zone late that night.
Result?
The government suffered losses.
The station master was suspended from his job.
His divorce was also eventually finalized.
Poor guy!!
